What You Need to Know

Kybella is an FDA-approved, non-invasive cosmetic treatment used to melt away a double chin. During the procedure, our specialist will perform a series of micro-injections of Kybella. Over the following weeks, Kybella will destroy the fat cells under the chin, leaving you with arguably the best results in Kybella Puerto Rico has to offer its cosmetic patients.

WHICH AREAS CAN BE
TREATED WITH KYBELLA?

Fat accumulation beneath the jawline and chin is known as submental fat, or a double chin. Submental Fat is a very common complaint among both men and women. Kybella is made up of a naturally occurring substance within the body, called deoxycholic acid; this is found within the liver and works to dissolve fat cells within the body. When injected into the targeted area, fat cells are broken down and absorbed, which means Kybella is a holistic and safe way to eradicate that problem area under your skin. This procedure is more than a cosmetic fix, it’s permanent.

HOW DOES KYBELLA WORK?

Kybella contains an ingredient known as deoxycholic acid. This substance occurs naturally in your body where it is secreted by the gallbladder to break down fat from your diet. When Kybella is injected into the fat beneath your chin, it tells your body to shed the excess fat. Once the cells are destroyed, they are gone, forever.
